CTY Online - Postponement Policy

Our students are most successful when they work consistently. We realize, however, that situations occur which may cause a student to be away from their individually paced course for an extended period.

Students may postpone enrollment more than once per enrollment period, but they must be taking a break from the course for at least 7 days. Postponed enrollment does not expire, and may be used for any individually paced math, science, computer science or technology course.

MyCTY allows you to postpone your child's individually paced CTY Online course during an extended absence, preserving enrollment time. Log into MyCTY as Parent, choose Student Participation, then Submit Postponement. From this screen you can submit postponement requests for the current or future dates, and you will have the option of specifying the date of the student's return. Please note: MyCTY is now the ONLY management tool for postponing your student’s enrollment. Enrollment can no longer be postponed by email or phone request.

PLEASE NOTE: Since CTY incurs expenses based upon server occupancy, enrollment can only be extended when the above steps are followed. Retroactive extensions cannot be granted after an absence from the program. We cannot extend enrollments for students and families who did not use the program as much as they had expected.
